Dr. Md. Riyad Tanshen
Md. Riyad Tanshen received the Ph.D. degree in Thermal and Fluid from Gyeongsang National University, South Korea in 2014. He received the MS degree in Thermal and Fluid from Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. He received the B.Sc. degree from World University of Bangladesh (WUB), Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he is currently serving as Sr. Assistant Professor in the Department of EEE. Dr. Riyad has published more than 30 international journal and conference papers. His research interests include the areas of Oscillating Heat Pipe (OHP), geothermal energy and still working with nanofluid where nano-particle, dispersion and application of nanofluids are being carried on. He also knows CFD and ANSYS software. He is a member of several international and national research organization/communities and also serving as an associate editor of world Journal of Science and Engineering, (WJSE).
Developed dispersion of carbon nanotubes and other nanomaterials (Al2O3, TiO2, Cu, CuO etc…) into the base fluids. Upgraded thermal and dispersion characteristics of nanoparticles in base fluid by using mechanical grinding and chemical surfactants. Developed the performance of heat exchangers and heat pipes using several nanofluids. RESEARCH INTERESTS: Materials Science, Composite Materials, Carbon Nanotubes, Graphene Heat and Mass Transfer Thermal Engineering, Heat Pipe Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Nanofluids Solar Energy and Power Awards He got Brain Korea (BK21) Scholarship, Funded by South Korean Government. Graduate Student, Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. National Research Foundation of Korea as a student research project.
