Mr. A.B.M Siddique is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration Department of the World University of Bangladesh. He is teaching Management and Finance related subjects in BBA and MBA programs. He has been working as a faculty member of Business Studies of World University of Bangladesh since September 2011. He has been working as a Thesis Coordinator of BBA and MBA programs. He is a member of Examination and Curriculum Committee of Business Administration Department of WUB. He did his BBA and MBA from Chittagong University and M.Phil. from Dhaka University in 2011 and his Ph.D. program is ongoing at Dhaka University. His Ph.D. research area is: Institutional role in the development of Women Entrepreneurship in SME in Bangladesh. He has a good number of Articles on Women Entrepreneurship Development in international journals. He started his career as Marketing Officer in People’s Ceramics Industry Ltd. in the year 1998 and was promoted as Marketing Manager in the year 2000. He had a strong ambition to achieve Ph.D. degree. Because of that academic ambition he switched to teaching profession and joined Aga Khan School (AKS) (A concern of Prince Karim Aga Khan Foundation, Karachi administered from Paris, France) as A- Level Business Studies teacher. He participated in six months’ training program on Teaching Methodology arranged by Aga Khan University, Karachi in 2002. He worked as a senior Lecturer of Management at Uttara University from 2005 to 2010. He did his LL.B degree from BUBT in 2012 and he is a member of Bangladesh Bar Council (Laxmipur District). He maintains connection with corporate bodies and Corporate Professionals. Mr. Siddique has very keen interest to conduct research in the following fields:1. Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR) methods in rural areas of Bangladesh. 2. Safe Food preservation and distribution mechanism. 3. Reducing the role of middlemen from agricultural products in Bangladesh with the help of IT infrastructure.
