Rajib Banik has been working as a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of World University of Bangladesh since May 2,2016.He has received B.Sc in Civil Engineering degree from KUET and M.Sc degree in Civil & Transportation Engineering from BUET. His field of specialisation is transportation engineering. He has successfully completed professional training program for academic staff organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with financial and technical assistance from the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh(UGC), World Bank , W.U.B. He also worked as a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of European University of Bangladesh (EUB) from May 8, 2014 to January 31, 2016. Over the years, he has worked on many residential building design projects and research works on level of service analysis and modeling, public transport service quality prediction analysis using different software, analysis of bearing capacity of soil and prediction of soil type and N value of different types of soil. He actively participated and won many prizes in various games & sports. He was also member of a cultural committee at Amar Ekushey Hall, KUET.
